Note on roles: LLC "DataPrime" has a dual role depending on the data concerned. For account, registration and billing data it is the controller; for the content of documents uploaded for translation it acts as a processor on the instructions of the translator, who is the controller of that content. The two statements below refer to these different roles.

As a controller established outside the European Union offering services to data subjects in the EU, we have designated the following representative in the Union pursuant to Art. 27 GDPR. The representative may be contacted by data subjects and supervisory authorities in addition to, or instead of, the controller, on all matters relating to the processing of personal data:

Data Protection Officer

LLC "DataPrime" has assessed whether it is required to designate a Data Protection Officer under Art. 37 GDPR. In respect of the content of uploaded documents — which may contain special-category data — LLC "DataPrime" acts as a processor on the instructions of the translator, who is the controller of that content. The relevant criterion is large-scale processing of special-category data (assessed by the volume of documents and the data subjects within them, not by the number of customers). At the current scale of operation this threshold is not met, so a DPO is not presently mandatory. LLC "DataPrime" recognises that, should the volume of processing change, it may reach "large scale"; the associated risk is in any case minimised by design — document content is encrypted under a key the operator does not need or use in normal operation; any access is by exception only — e.g. to fulfil a data-subject request — and is logged. LLC "DataPrime" keeps this assessment under review and will appoint an independent (external) Data Protection Officer before its processing reaches large scale.

Note on Professional Status

LLC "DataPrime" is a technology company that provides a software tool for AI-assisted translation. Lingverra is not itself a sworn or authorised translator and does not produce certified translations. The professional review, correction and certification of the translation, and the responsibility for it, rest exclusively with the sworn/authorised translator using the platform. As a provider of an AI system, Lingverra observes the transparency obligations of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Act), Art. 50(2): every translation exported from the platform is marked in a machine-readable form, in the metadata of the PDF file, as produced with an AI system, and the platform identifies AI-generated drafts as such. The translator who reviews and certifies the translation remains responsible for its content.

Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065)

Single point of contact for authorities and users (Art. 11 and 12): support@lingverra.com. Communication is possible in English, German and Ukrainian. Customers may also use the “Support” area of their account.

Notices of illegal content (Art. 16): to the same address. Please explain why you consider the content illegal, identify it as precisely as possible, and give your name and e-mail address (not required for notices concerning child sexual abuse material). We confirm receipt, decide diligently and inform you of the decision (see also Terms Section 4).

Dispute Resolution

LLC "DataPrime" serves businesses exclusively (B2B). Consumer dispute-resolution provisions do not apply. We do not participate in alternative dispute-resolution procedures before a consumer arbitration body. For disputes, the jurisdiction set out in our General Terms and Conditions applies.

Liability for Content

As a service provider, we are responsible for our own content on this website under general law. We are not, however, obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances indicating unlawful activity. Upon becoming aware of legal violations, we remove the relevant content without delay.

Liability for Links

Our website may contain links to external third-party websites. We have no influence over their content; the respective provider is always responsible for it. At the time of linking, the linked pages were checked for possible legal violations. Permanent monitoring of content is not reasonable without specific indications. Upon becoming aware of legal violations, we remove such links without delay.

The texts, design and other materials of this website are subject to copyright. Reproduction, editing, distribution and any kind of exploitation beyond the limits set by law require the prior written consent of the rightholder.

This does not apply to your documents and translations. The rights in the material you upload and in the translation you have reviewed remain yours; neither LLC "DataPrime" nor any other party connected with the platform asserts any right in them (Section 10 of the General Terms and Conditions).
